ISON is not looking good. Recent images taken with the SOHO LASCO C2
imager show the coma smearing out with no bright central condensation.
ISON has been a comet of many surprises and its death has been reported
(incorrectly) many times. But now it is showing the classic appearance
of a comet that has completely disrupted. We’ll have a better idea by
the end of the day.
